Trendlines
Connect two or more swing points to visualize trend. A valid trendline is touched multiple times. A channel adds a parallel line. Trade the reaction at the line (with a trigger), not the line itself. A clean break + retest of a trendline is a common entry.
Common failure
Forcing a line through price. If you have to ignore candles to draw it, it isn't valid.
