How cashback is generated from broker IB commissions, how it is calculated per lot, and how rebates are paid to traders.

How cashback is generated

When you trade with a partner broker, the broker pays an Introducing Broker commission per lot. ShaFX shares the majority of that commission back to you as cashback, denominated in USD per closed lot.

Pending vs available

Cashback starts as Pending while the broker reconciles your volume (typically up to 7 days). Once confirmed it becomes Available for withdrawal. If a trade is reversed, the related cashback is reversed too.

Per-lot rate transparency

Every broker page lists the per-lot rate by account type and instrument. Your dashboard shows the rate that applied to each trade and the resulting cashback.

How is cashback calculated?

Cashback is calculated per closed lot, denominated in USD, based on the broker rate published on your account. It is credited as Pending until the broker confirms volume (typically up to 7 days), then becomes Available.

Why is some cashback Pending?

Brokers report volume on a delayed schedule (usually daily or weekly) and reverse trades that fail risk checks. Pending cashback matures into Available once the broker confirms the lot.

Are there any fees?

There are no fees for cashback. Withdrawal methods may have their own network or processing fees, which are shown before you confirm the withdrawal.
