Affiliate / IB Disclosure

Plain-English summary: When you open a broker account through a ShaFX link, the broker pays us a commission. We share most of that commission back with you as cashback. Some brokers pay us more than others. We disclose this so you can decide.

1. What this disclosure covers

This document explains the financial relationships between ShaFX and the third-party brokers, prop firms, and trading-tool providers featured on this website. We publish this so traders can make informed decisions about the content, comparison tables, and broker recommendations they read on ShaFX.

2. Introducing-broker / affiliate commissions

ShaFX may earn a commission when a user clicks a tracked broker link, opens an account, deposits funds, or generates trading volume. The commission may be a one-time payment, a per-lot rebate, a revenue-share, or a combination. The exact commercial terms vary by broker and are governed by separate agreements between ShaFX and each partner.

3. Cashback flow

Where eligible, ShaFX shares the majority of the per-lot rebate it receives back to the trader as cashback, weekly. Cashback is paid only on trades made through tracked broker accounts the user has linked to their ShaFX dashboard. Eligibility, timing, and amount depend on the broker's reporting cycle and our reconciliation.

4. Sponsored placement & ranking

Some broker positions on the homepage, comparison tables, or "featured" badges may reflect a paid or commercial relationship. Where placement is sponsored, we mark it visibly. The expert score, regulator information, and pros / cons published in broker reviews are produced independently of any commercial arrangement and are not for sale.

5. What is NOT for sale

  • The broker expert score is not negotiable and is not influenced by commission size.
  • Risk warnings, regulator disclosures, and entity variation notes are never removed in exchange for compensation.
  • We do not accept payment to suppress negative information about a broker.
  • We do not accept payment to fabricate testimonials, screenshots, or proof.

6. No financial advice

The presence of a broker on ShaFX is not a recommendation that you open an account, deposit funds, or trade. It is information for comparison. You are solely responsible for your due diligence and for verifying broker terms directly with the broker before opening any account.

7. Changes & updates

We may add, remove, or change broker partnerships at any time. Material changes that affect ranking methodology will be reflected in our comparison methodology.
