What it actually measures

Your Discipline Score is not a profit tracker — you can have a green week and a falling score, or a red week and a rising one. It watches behavior: position sizing relative to your account, whether you use stop losses, overtrading patterns, and consistency over time. It exists because good decisions and good outcomes are not the same thing, especially trade-by-trade.

A dropping score is an early warning that something in your process has slipped, well before it necessarily shows up as a blown account. Treat a falling score the way you'd treat a warning light: don't argue with it, go find what changed in your last few trades.

How to use it: check your score at the same time each week, alongside your journal. If it drops, look at your most recent trades for oversized positions, missing stops, or a burst of overtrading — the score is telling you where to look, not just that something is wrong.
