The players

The Forex market is dominated by large institutions — central banks, commercial banks, hedge funds, and corporations. Retail traders like us are a small part of the volume.

This matters because price often moves toward areas where big players have orders (liquidity). Understanding this is the foundation of Smart Money Concepts (SMC/ICT), which you will learn in Module 4.

Price is ultimately driven by supply and demand — but also by interest rates, economic data, and global sentiment (Module 4, Macro).
