The mistake hiding in plain sight
Traders often go looking for a new strategy, a new indicator, or a new mentor to fix a losing streak — while ignoring data ShaFX has already collected about their own trading. Your Discipline Score, your journal entries, and your per-pair win rate under Market Intelligence are not vanity numbers. They are a direct answer to "what should I actually fix?"
If your Discipline Score is dropping, it is telling you something concrete changed in your behavior — oversized positions, no stop loss, or overtrading — not something abstract. If your per-pair breakdown shows a 25% win rate on one instrument and 60% on another, that is not a coincidence to explain away; it is a direct instruction to trade the second one more and the first one less, or to figure out what's different about how you trade it.
Weekly habit: before you consume any new trading content, spend five minutes reading your own Discipline Score trend and your edge-by-pair breakdown. The most useful lesson about your trading is usually one you've already generated yourself.
