Forex runs across four sessions: Sydney → Tokyo → London → New York. The best liquidity (and tightest spreads) comes during London and the London/New York overlap (roughly 13:00-17:00 GMT).
Major pairs move most during their home sessions. Trading during quiet hours (late New York, early Sydney) often means wider spreads and choppy moves — usually best avoided by beginners.
