The advertised spread is rarely the full cost of a فاریکس trade. New traders compare بروکرز on the headline number; experienced traders read the all-in stack. Here is the stack.

1. Spread

The bid-ask difference, paid ہر ٹریڈ پر. On a Standard account it is widest; on an ECN/Raw account it is tighter but کمیشن is added. Spreads widen during news and at session opens — sometimes severely on minor pairs and سونا.

2. کمیشن

فی لاٹ fee, typically charged on raw-spread accounts. Often quoted as "$X per side per lot" or "$Y round-turn per lot". Verify which one آپ are reading.

3. Swap (overnight financing)

Hold a position past 5pm New York time and آپ pay or receive swap based on the interest-rate differential. Triple swap usually applies on Wednesday for فاریکس (to cover the weekend rollover). Some pairs and instruments swap heavily negative.

4. Slippage

The gap between the price آپ expected and the price آپ got. Negligible in deep liquidity. Painful around news, gaps, کم-liquidity pairs, and on stop orders during volatility.

5. Deposit and withdrawal fees

Some methods are free; some carry processing fees, FX conversion costs, or third-party charges. چیک کریں the broker's payment-method page, not the marketing page.

6. Inactivity fees

Many بروکرز charge a monthly fee after a defined dormant period (commonly 90 days). Smaller balances can be eaten quickly.

7. کرنسی conversion

8. پلیٹ فارم / VPS / data fees

Mostly a non-issue for retail. Becomes relevant for EA users, scalpers, and anyone trading professional data feeds.

Take your typical month. Add: (لاٹس traded × spread per lot in currency) + (لاٹس traded × کمیشن round-turn) + (لاٹس × average swap) + (occasional slippage estimate) + (deposit/withdrawal fees) + (inactivity if relevant). Compare بروکرز on the all-in number, not the headline spread.
